As you prepare, take some silent time to calm your heart.
Holy One, whether in our toil or our pleasure, may we catch glimpses of you at work in our lives. Help us to remember that our work can be a time to recall you and to spend in communication with you, using the skills you have given us to your glory. Help us to remember that life is a gift to be enjoyed and to give thanks for all the moments of joy and laughter we experience. In Christ’s name we pray, AMEN.
