On this Sabbath, take time to enjoy some quiet time, perhaps relaxing outside or reading a good book.
When Thomas saw you, O Risen One, he exclaimed, “my Lord and my God!” May we see you in the world around us – in creation, the faces of those around us, in the wounded, oppressed and outcast – and may we too recognize you, crying out, “my Lord and my God!” May we seek to live our lives confessing and proclaiming who you are. In the name of our crucified and risen Lord we pray, AMEN.
Close with the Lord’s Prayer and/or the Doxology:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise God you creatures here below.
Praise God above, you heavenly hosts.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
